This past weekend, we were busy traveling to Hanover in Indiana and Transylvania in Kentucky. We were paired up with Hanover on Friday night and Transylvania on Saturday. We came into these games with high expectations and positive attitudes following our tough defeat against Mount Saint Joseph the previous weekend. Unfortunately to our dismay, we were not able to come out with a win against our two conference opponents.
The scores of the Hanover match were close in all three games; however, we couldn't get a lead for a win. As for the Transylvania match, the games were nail biters. We started out strong with two exciting wins in the first two sets, but came short in the last three, resulting in the loss. We still had one more game for the weekend, and we weren't about to let two losses get in the way of our commitment to win. We dug up the fire we had left for the weekend and used it against Kentucky Christian with a win in three sets.
