The MSJ and Thomas More Matches

Well this weekend did not go as we would have liked, as we lost to Mt. St. Joseph and Thomas Moore in three sets. However, one thing all members of this DCVB team know, is that this weekend’s losses will not defeat us. We are a team of fighters and we will use this weekend as motivation for next weekend’s matches, where we play four matches, two against conference teams.

All members of the DCVB family appreciate the support we have received so far and hoped to see continued support as we battle forwards and towards the conference tournament.

There is no changing the past but we will take control of our own destiny from here on out as we push onward towards the conference tournament. Come out and see us play this Saturday and Sunday!

The Franklin Match

We headed to Franklin on Saturday to face the Grizzlies on their home court for our third conference match. We defeated them in three straight sets to tie for second in the conference at 2-1. Everyone gave a great effort towards our win.

We will have a tough week of practices to prepare for Mount St. Joe and Thomas More. We will travel to Mount on Sunday morning to face them at 1:00 pm and Thomas More at 2:30 pm.

The Earlham Match

We had an amazing time in California but it was time to come back to reality and continue with our conference play. We faced Earlham College on Wednesday and it was our first home match of the season. This was Earlham's first time playing in our gym and we definitely showed them how it is done in our gym. Our team came together and defeated Earlham in three short sets. It was a good win for us and we are excited for our next conference match at Franklin this Saturday!
